Firstly, you are introduced to the significant issues we believe the world is facing at the moment, such as poverty, environmental changes, health, education or any other significant issues you believe are important to look at. All under the protected environment of an alternative classroom, where studying becomes a meaningful tool to you.

Then, you and your team investigate the field you have chosen through the experience of travel. In this way, you will be able to see the reality for yourselves and understand the forces that drive the world, by finding your own place in it.

Now it’s time to use all your gathered knowledge and bring it into practice! Choosing a field that is closest to your heart you can actively contribute in either countries of South-America, Africa or India, collaborating with the locals, hand in hand and bringing a positive and remotely changing impact on people’s lives and yourself.
FIGHTING WITH THE POOR
TRAVEL AND VOLUNTEER IN AFRICA OR INDIA - 18 MONTHS
Packed with studies, work, travel, volunteering and bringing you a new perspective to life. You’ll start in Norway, then travel on land across Asia or Africa, and you’ll finish with 6 months of volunteering in India or Africa.
VOLUNTEER IN AFRICA OR ASIA - 10 MONTHS
Intense gap year filled with theoretical and practical studies to fight for sustainable development and work shoulder by shoulder with locals in the developing countries. Your team will consist of young people from all over the world, ready for a challenge, action and change!

TRAVEL AND VOLUNTEER IN SOUTH AMERICA - 6 MONTHS
Join other like-minded people and venture into remote communities in South America to learn about real-world issues and about conservation practices and Community development.

We can accept only EU/EEA passports and citizens of Canada, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

New teams for the pre-course start each year on the first of March and September, but the Introduction week for the team is always a week before the starting date. You can apply and enroll latest a month before the starting date if there is (are) places left.

You are interested in joining a program. Next step is to send us a motivational letter and CV. We will analyze your profile to see if you match our criteria.
If we find you are a great fit for us and you feel this journey is for you, then it’s time to set up a date and an hour for FINAL INTERVIEW. We will go over the questions to make sure you understand all the details and how the programs work.
After passing the final interview, you will receive an acceptance email with enrollment papers and documents. We require you to send the documents back to us at least a month before your arrival. Make sure to pay the enrollment fee within a week after your acceptance.
