One World Institute offers you the chance to work for your program costs. Your living expenses in Norway, course tuition, and your travels around the world! You are offered various jobs in European countries that will boost not only your budget but also your life experience!
Get familiar with big issues the world is facing today!
First, we get into poverty, development and other significant issues in a classroom and then we investigation travels out to the field to see the reality for yourself. Understand the forces that drive the world and find your own place in it.

FIGHTING WITH THE POOR
TRAVEL AND VOLUNTEER AFRICA OR INDIA - 18 MONTHS
Packed with studies, work, travels, volunteering and a new perspective on life at the end. You’ll start in Norway, then travel on land across Asia or Africa, and you’ll finish with 6 months of volunteering in India or in Africa.

TRAVEL AND VOLUNTEER IN SOUTH AMERICA - 6 MONTHS
Join other like-minded people and venture into remote communities in South America to learn about real-world issues and about conservation practices and Community development.

Frequently asked question
1. Who can enroll?
For we can accept only EU/EEA passports and citizens of Canada, Japan, Austrailia, and New Zealand.
2. Where can I volunteer?
For this Program, we work closely with Humana People to People, an organization that has branches in Asia, Africa, and South America.
3. What are the application dates?
New teams for the pre-course start each year on the first of March and September.

How to get started

Let's meet & chat!
Select a day and hour that suits you best, so we can have a free informational Skype meeting or phone call and answer all your questions about the program.

Volunteer qualification
You are informed and interested in joining a program. Now you can send us your motivational letter and CV, so we can analyze your profile and background to make sure that you match our criteria.

Final Interview
We find that you are a fit for us and you are sure that you want to join your program next step is to set up a FINAL INTERVIEW. We will assign you a date and an hour. You will be asked about the program to make sure that you know all the details and that all your questions have been answered.

Enrollment papers
After passing the final interview, you will receive an acceptance email with enrollment papers and documents. You need to pay the enrollment fee within a week of acceptance or make other agreements. We require your documents as soon as possible at least a month before arrival.
