Are we ready for 4 more years under a Trump presidency? A term that costed already 235K american lives? Will democracy stand in the midst of a deathly pandemic, civil rights riots, and colossal inequality?
The American people shouldn’t have to fear their commander in chief, they shouldn’t have to choose between the less of two evils…yet they do.
2020 has been in many ways a tragic, unprecedented year. One that
put uncertainty at the centre stage of our lives.
Joe Biden being elected the 46th president of the United States, (re) instilled in all of us a sense of relief…finally, we find ourselves with a politician filling the greater role of the ‘free world’…not a show man.
Yes, Trump has been fired! We can allow ourselves a break (from his politics…and tweets!), we can breath and celebrate for a little moment, but not forget, it was a close call and democracy has a long way to go.
Biden has a great responsibility in his hands, and some of us have a part in it. We have the right to elect our leaders; we have the power to choose who will represent our nations. Let’s exercise the right the past generations fought hard to have. VOTE for you and for the world you want to live in.
